Data Deletion Instructions

At Jood L.L.C, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request the deletion of your data from the Jood Notifications platform, including any data associated with our WhatsApp Business integration.
What Data We Store
When you interact with our services (including via WhatsApp), we may store the following data:
- Your phone number and WhatsApp profile information (as provided by Meta).
- Message history, delivery status, and timestamps.
- Template parameters and variables sent in messages.
- Account information if you are a registered user of our platform.
How to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your data through any of the following methods:
Option 1: Email Request
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
Include the following information in your email:
• Your full name
• Phone number associated with your data (with country code)
• Description of what data you want deleted
We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days.
Option 2: WhatsApp Message
Send a WhatsApp message to our business number with the text "DELETE MY DATA" from the phone number whose data you want deleted. We will confirm receipt and process the deletion.
Option 3: Platform Account Holders
If you have an account on our admin dashboard, you can contact your organization's administrator to remove your data, or email us at [email protected] for account deletion.
What Happens After Your Request
- Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days.
- Verification: We may need to verify your identity to protect against unauthorized deletion requests.
- Processing: Your data will be deleted within 30 days of verification.
- Confirmation: You will receive confirmation once the deletion is complete.
What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon a valid deletion request, we will delete:
- Your phone number from our messaging records.
- Message history and delivery logs associated with your number.
- Any personal data linked to your interactions with our platform.
Data We May Retain
In certain cases, we may retain limited data as required by law or legitimate business needs:
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics data that cannot identify you.
- Records required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.
- Transaction records required by applicable financial or tax regulations.
Any retained data will be kept securely and only for the minimum period required.
Third-Party Data
Please note that data processed by third-party services (Meta/WhatsApp, SMS providers) is subject to their own data deletion policies:
